SUMIFS is not calculating

Hello



In cell M1 I have a date
in Cell L2 I have a text (with DV List)

in colum A8:A1048576 i have dates
In column E8:E1048576 I have texts

In column G8:G1048576 I have amounts

I want to sum G8:G1048576 IF
1) A8:A1048576 contains dates which are smaller than the date in cell M1
2) E8:E1048576 contains the same text string which is in cell L2
I am using this formula for the desired result

=SUMIFS(G8:G1048576,A8:A1048576,"<"&M1,G8:G1048576,E8:E1048576=L2)

But It is not showing the correct results as I compare to manual results

What I am missing? Please guide

The syntax looks wrong. Try this:

=SUMIFS(G8:G1048576,A8:A1048576,"<"&M1,E8:E1048576,L2)
