    Weeding out rows of list.

    Hi All,

Trying to weed out a bunch of values in a list. In the attached, the values of column B, C, D, E are all specific to another. I am basically trying to get it down to just the rows that have #N/A in column E. If I could use find/replace to highlight everything that DOES NOT have #N/A next to it, I could simply delete by rows.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi forestavekids,
    1. I applied Filters to the data.
    2. In column E I selected #NA only.
    3. I selected / highlighted all the results.
    4. I hit the F5 function key.
    5. Selected visible cells only.
    6. Removed the filter.
    7. Right clicked in one of the non contiguous areas.
    8. Selected Delete.
    9. Then Shift cells up.

The results are in the attached.

I thought the OP wanted the opposite, i.e. to end up with a list of where column E is #N/A, which I've done in the attached file by:

Highlighting column E and clicking on Data | Filter
On the filter drop-down, scrolling down and de-selecting #N/A
Starting by selecting row 2, holding down the Shift key and scrolling down to the bottom to highlight all the visible rows, releasing Shift, then clicking Delete
Selecting All in the Filter drop-down
Removing the filter from column E.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
