How to filter cells by calling the filter command from another sheet?

I'm having an excel database, with a list of methods in Column C of "Sheet 2" and dropdown list in Sheet 1 with same list of methods. Can anyone let me know how to program, where in if the user selects the method from the drop down in Sheet 1, it automatically filters the method in Column C in "Sheet 2"?
