Dynamic range with flexibile start date

Hi,
I have a range of dates on a monthly basis from the period 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2021. I want create a dynamic range with a flexible start date for the forecast (i.e. the forecast period would be updated on a rolling basis, so the start date for the range would need to change). Purpose of the list is to create a dropdown with months within the forecast period.

Show a before and after situation with manually calculated results, explaining which information is data and which is results, and if it's not blindingly obvious how you have arrived at your results some explanatory notes as well.
