i need to update calculation frm road 1-2 (sheet name) to summary . is there any way to solve this issue?

And as a general rule treat merged cells like the plague. They just cause too many problems and most of us advise not using them.

We need more detail: my assumption is want COUNTs/SUMs of ALL sheets(?)

And I would remove ALL merged cells as they are going to (do) cause problems when you try to apply any formulae.

The following from your file illustrates the problem:

in SUMMARY E15 (a merged cell itself!) you have

='Road -1.2'!J14:J15 has a value of 0

the CORRECT formula below ,,, (as J14:J15 are merged)

='Road -1.2'!J14 has a value of 2.
