Cross referencing two data sets and returning any overlapping info with 2 variables

Hello, I am looking to compare database 1 which contains stocks and corresponding dates, to a second database of stocks with corresponding dates to see if there is any overlapping between them. The idea is that somehow I would create a function that tells me F had overlapping days on 10/5/2010 with table 2 and that AAPL had overlapping days on 11/1/2010 and 11/29/2010. In the attached, data set 3 is how I envision this would look once it returns the data.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Hello kah123 and welcome to the forum.

Try array entering this formula in cell N3 of your upload, then fill down and across. If you aren’t familiar with array-entered formulas array enter means the formula must be committed from edit mode by simultaneously pressing and holding down Ctrl and Shift while hitting Enter.
