Drop Down List without Source Data?

    Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to create drop down list without having to write the source data

e.g. I need to create a list to choose 3 different branch offices for London, Milan, Berlin but I don't want these cities to appear anywhere else in the worksheet, only in the drop down list.

the only option I have so far, and don't like, would be to still write the 3 cities and change the font color to white so it can't be seen. Is there a more appropriate way to do it?

    Thank you.

Yes. Just use data validation with the list setting and type London,Milan,Berlin in the source box.
