If function to generate 5 different invoices

    Hi there genius

I realy hope that someone can help me solving this huge problem. For you, probably a little challenge

Im gonna make a Excel form that generates 5 different invoices at the same time by writing some information in the first page.

    First page = Forside
Second page = Faktura 1 and so on.

Forside and Faktura 1 is ok, but what I need is the IF function in G14 (Faktura 2, 3, 4 and 5) to subtract 10% of the value in E12 or E16 - 20 (Forside) until it has reached the same value as in B12 (forside).
So if it reach the value in Faktura 3, than it wont subtract anything in 4 and 5. And also if the value to be subtract is less than 10% to reach the value in E12 (Forside), it has to subtract as much as it need to reach the value of E12 (Forside).

Hope that that somebody can help me solve this, and that I explained it god enough.

    Excel file attached.

    Best regards

    Re: Help with If function

In Faktura 2 onward your formula references cells in column M ..... ???..

Please add expected (manually calculated) results to your posted file.

    Re: Help with If function

    Hi John,

That formula that you refer to is not to be used. I have copied this from another workbook that I had.
I have made some changes in the workbook with comments for the expected results.

The results that I have add is only if there is a number in E12 (Forside). E12 is the number of invoices if all should have the same value.
If no number in E12 (Forside) it will choose E16 - 20.

If using E16 - 20, The result of G14 should be:

    Faktura 1: 450 000,-
    Faktura 2: 540 000,-
    Faktura 3: 635 000,-
    Faktura 4: 800 000,-
    Faktura 5: 900 000,-

    New workbook has been attached.

Thank you for loocking in to this

    Best regards

Re: If function to generate 5 different invoices

I am obviously not a genius (very true!) but your new file does not make it any clearer.

What I wanted was the values in FaKtura 1 to 5 completed.

As E12=5 , then 5 invoices with same value ... what value?

According to your formula FaKtura 1 G14 has a value of 630000

so expected result in Faktura 2 is ???? ...

In this case the expected result shuld be 630 000 unless the subtract from Faktura 1 and 2 is the same or less than the value in B12 (Forside)
    subtracting from what ???

Faktura 2: If you subtract 10% of E13 (not E12 as your first post?) =70,000 .....

Re: If function to generate 5 different invoices

    Hi John,

The 5 invoices will have the value of B11 (Forside) divided on E12 (Forside), but there will be subtract up to 10% of each invoice until it has reached the value of B12, therefor 630 000,-.
I this case the value of G14 (Faktura 2) would be 630 000,-, because the value of B12 (Forside) has not been reached.

G14 (Faktura 3) would be 665 000,- because there is only 35 000,- left of the value to subtract.

Compared to me you are a genius, And I belive strongly in you
