Question Identify all rows in sheet 1 containing number from sheet 2 array

Hello! I'm loosing my mind and unable to find a simple formula for this problem. Please help.

    - one excel file ,
    - sheet 1 with many rows and columns ,
    - sheet 1 , column AH is containing 4 digit numbers or text string ,
    - how to identify or mark red all rows in sheet 1 , column AH , containing the same string in sheet 2 , column (array) A ?

... maybe I need to insert one column in sheet 1 and insert formula there , to insert word "yes" in rows containing sheet 2 reference?
    ... maybe I need a macro...
... later on I plan to use "filtering by color" to select and extract only found rows ... but this can be done as well with new column "yes"

    many thanks!

the easiest way would be to add a helper column like you said.

I would try something along the lines of:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Inserted somewhere in sheet 1, in the second row (for example A2).

That will give you true/false based on if it is a match or not. From there you can use conditional formatting to color cells if needed.

    no .... I can't make it working...

seems this formula is having problems with identifying the numbers in my reference column ...

for example , when I write down a number 0001 in the sheet 1 AH cell than it is recognized but otherwise it is not ...

could it be a problem how numbers (row) is formatted ?
