Which formula for particular weather data

Have another slight problem, I need to figure out what formula to use to enter in certain information. I'll give the run-down, I need to enter in a function that counts sunny, rainy, etc days in a month but some of the cells have more than 1 kind of precipitation, I'm trying to figure out if it's a Countif or Countifs function...or heck maybe I'm way off and it's a completely different formula, this problem has me a little stumped right now.

Sample data is below: (blank cells indicate a sunny forecast)

    1 57 51 45 0
    2 52 49 45 0.03 Rain
    3 53 48 42 0
    4 53 46 38 0
    5 45 39 33 0
    6 41 36 31 0
    7 45 39 32 0.33 Rain , Snow

I'm not sure what it is you're trying to achieve. Are you wanting to total the amount of rain separate from snow, etc? I don't see how that's possible if you have something like '0.33 Rain, Snow' as in your sample data.

It would be easier to understand if you could attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data if necessary.
Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.

Thanks for the reply, but I managed to solve this little conundrum I had, all that I needed was a wildcard in the formula.
