I'm looking for another push in the right direction, please!
I have two tables in columns B to K and M to P:
Excel 2016 (Windows) 32 bit
B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P 3Department Staff KS3 KS4 KS5 Games Compass RHS+ EPQ OtherStaff Total Allocation +/- 4MFL AGW 10 7 6 6AGW 29 31 5JER 6NJM 7RGE 8AGW 1 9SMG 10MCJ 11TP 12FLA Fr 13FLA Gm 14FLA Sp
Sheet: Sheet1
Excel 2016 (Windows) 32 bit
N 4 =SUM(VLOOKUP(M4, $C$4:$K$14, {2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}, FALSE))
Sheet: Sheet1
I had hoped that the formula in N4 would allow me to sum any row where my initials (AGW) occur in column C, but it doesn't work as I had hoped. The correct answer in N4 is 30, but it's returning 29, so it's only summing the first row where my initials occur. Could some kind soul tell me what to tweak to make it do what I'd like it to?
