Multiplication with an empty cell

Hi guys,
I have the following question, I am doing a spreadsheet there I have 5 columns.
First column - description (text no problem there)
Second column - a number (no problem - you input it manually)
3rd column - a number again manual input
4th column - number again, manual input

5th column must be equal to the multiplication of the 2,3 and 4th column.
For example in column five (E2) the formula must be =B2*C2*D2. The problem is that one of the 3 columns where you input the numbers manually will be empty. So if one cell is empty the answer will automatically be 0.

I need some sort of if function where it takes into account only 2 of the 3 cells where i can input numbers in (at least I think that I need an if function :D)

Like the SUM() function, the PRODUCT() function will ignore blanks and text. I would suggest trying that instead of the multiplication operator =PRODUCT(B2:D2) https://support.office.com/en-us/art...c-80982a0512ce
