Change data

Hello,

I've downloaded data on the opening and closing price of stock markets from 2002-2012.

However, the date, opening price and closing price all come in one cell. Like this:


2012-09-04,1406.540039,1474.51001,


Now i need them to be in separate 3 cells to be able to do calculations. I have around 17 stock markets with monthly data for about 10 years so doing this manually will be the end of me.

Is there a simple way to do separate them into 3 cells?

Data/Text to columns with comma delimiters???

Please follow these steps...

Select the column with Data --> Data Tab --> Text to Columns --> Delimited --> Next --> Check the CheckBox next to Comma --> Next --> Select the Date Column in the Data Preview Window --> Choose the proper date format under Column data format --> Finish.
