i am doing stock inventory at my work.
what i want to do is have one total value (eg 2000). then depending on what comes in i can add or subtract from that number but i dont want to keep going down my page with for example. 3/05/17 received 1000, 4/05/17 used 1000. i just want to be able to type into a cell + 1000 and it adds it to my total boxes. or - 1000 boxes and that takes away from my total.
also once i delete the value in the + or - box the total number stays either 1000 more or less depending on if i have either added or subtracted.
eg. total = 2000
+ 1000
= 3000
(delete +1000 out of box)
total =3000
- 2000
= 1000
(delete 2000 out of box)
total = 1000
please help me! can this be done on excel
