    Sumif with separating columns

    Dear All,

I try to create a formula of sum if to match two column ranges. However, there are several columns in btw. For example:

    =SUMIF('Raw Data'!J3:L225, "=" & $AH$6, 'Raw Data'!AH3:AQ225)

This does not work. However, if there are none in btw. then it works. For example:

    =SUMIF(Sheet1!A3:N225, "=" & $AH$6, Sheet1!O3:X225)

    Thank you

    Re: Sumif with separating columns

you don't need the "=" & bit in the formulas

problem is that j:l is 3 columns, AH:AQ is 10 columns, the ranges have to be the same size

Then why does it not work in the first but second. The number of columns stays the same

The number of rows is the same, the number of columns is not
    J, K, L is 3
AH, AI, AJ, AK, AL, AM, AN, AQ, AP, AQ is 10 it certainly is not 3!

I get that, what I am saying, if the condition area and target area are next to each other -> no problem

If they are separated it does not work

    Re: Sumif with separating columns

*Update, I tried it via "Sum(Index(Match))), but that also does not work

    However it does work with
    =SUMIF('Raw Data'!M3:Z225,' Automation Calculations'!AH6,INDEX('Raw Data'!$AH$2:$AQ$2,ROW('Raw Data'!1:1)))

But just in the first output cell, after that the output is slightly wrong
