Replicating the next cell above that contains data

Hi, probably a simple one for you all. I have a table containing stock/contract information and then one column containing the stock price. At the bottom of this I want the cell to read the last price entered for that stock. Some of the cells don't contain data. I have tried INDEX with a COUNT function but this just gives me the last cell. Any help appreciated.
