Cant get advanced Lookup using INDEX & MATCH functions

Hi all,

i am trying to make email competition report - please see attahced.
I want to print Most popular day (G2) and Most popular send time (I2).

As I learnt on different websites I have to use combination INDEX, MATCH (POZVYHELDAT() in czech language) and MAX function.

First I made a table with sum number of emails for particular day.
I also tried to test MATCH and MAX - it works fine (C42,C43). But when I combined it with INDEX function, it doesnt work.
Same for popular send time (source of data is on other sheet - YR CZ Data).

Does anybody know how to make it work?

Try changing the format from TEXT to general (then F2/enter to apply it)

After doing that, I get čtvrtek
