Formula to generate week of year (Monday through Sunday) based on a date entered

I am interested in learning a formula to return the week of the year in one cell when I enter the date in a different cell.

I know =weeknum but unfortunately it returns values based on a Sunday through Saturday schedule, whereas I want a Monday through Sunday schedule.

    Thanks.

Did you look at the return_type argument for WEEKNUM?
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate

    =WEEKNUM(A2, 2)

Presumes your date entry is located in A2
