    sumifs using eomonth

    I've attached a worksheet which shows what I'm trying to do (without using arrays): show monthly sums of daily data.

    It may be that I don't understand the eomonth function.

    Could someone could point out the error(s) in my formula(s)?

    I'll very much appreciate your help!

    Since you already have the last day of each month in column E, paste the following formula into F5, press the enter key and double click the fill handle to copy down:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Try using a Pivot Table and grouping the data by month/year. See your updated example.

    The formula given in post #2 could and probably should, considering that the EOMONTH function is already employed in column E, so that it reads:
