Reduce Percentage Increase

Hi Excel Experts,

I am working on the salary increments for my employees and i need some help here from the experts. I am attaching the sample excel for your ready reference.

I have multiple functions within my organisation. Each of this functions have varied headcount, salary and a % increase. The overall increase is 7.49%.

Now i need to reduce the overall increase by 1% i.e. 6.49%. Since the headcount, salary and % increase are varying, how do it achieve this with a simple formula.

Looking forward to expert advise / formula on this.

Adjust current & by 6.49/7.49

So in G2

=D2*6.49/7.49)

in H2

=G2*C2
