We changed our policy to if any employee takes a sick day they must return to work with a doctors note. If no note no pay will be given. How do I change my sick leave formula to still subtract a day used with 0 hours sick? This post will not allow me to attach my timesheet to view so below is the formula I use. Thank You
Example of May 2017 Sick Leave Formula (Note: Personals days are combined in with sick day formula)
=+April2017!B5-(AJ5)/8-(AJ6/8)
=April Sick Days remaining-(May total sick days used)/8 hrs. per day-(May total Personal days used)/8.
