    How to Rank a Supplier Rate Table

    Evening all,

    I've read numerous threads on this but I'm struggling to understand it sufficiently enough to apply it to my workbook. Basically I've got a table with a schedule of rates for different suppliers and I just need to rank them in ascending order. Simples right?!?!

    Example attached.

    Thanks in advance,

    Can't you simply sort the table on column C? If you want to use a formula instead, try these:

    F4 =SMALL($C$4:$C$29,ROWS(A$1:A1))
    E4 =INDEX(B$4:B$29,SMALL(IF(C$4:C$29=F4,ROW(C$4:C$29)-(ROW(C$4)-1)),COUNTIF(F$4:F4,F4))) Ctrl Shift Enter
