Need a COUNTIF formula to work with Excel 2000. Not confident it will work?

Can anyone translate this to a formula that can work with older versions of excel?

Re: Need a formula to work with Excel 2002

Edit OK. Cancel this. The question changed.

I would expect that to work.

What is it returning?

In the meantime try:

1. Please take a moment to read the forum rules and then amend your thread title to something descriptive of your problem - not what you think the answer might be. (think google search terms?). Once you have done this please send me a PM and I will remove this request. (Also, include a link to your thread - copy from the address bar)

Many members search our previous posts, and thread titles play a big part of the search. I doubt anybody would do a search based on your title?

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT POST then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(note: this change is not optional )

2. From what I have seen, COUNTIF() works just fine in 2002?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Thanks for the title change

What exactly are you trying to do there?
Can you show some sample data and explain what you want?

OK, but that seems to be a work-around. COUNTIF should work for you. Can you show some sample data, and show what you get and what you expect?

Re: Need a COUNTIF formula to work with Excel 2000. Not confident it will work?

Ok I am attaching my sheet i need to clarify a bit more.

I have the COUNTIF formulas highlighted in orange. I have many computers are work with excel 2000 (I know ridiculous) my laptop has 2010. I thought COUNTIF was not recognized in Excel 2000 and SumProduct had to be used? If this is not the case my sheet works with the COUNTIF. I cant check it until later in the week.

Make sense?

g1terra,

=COUNTIF(E12:E14,">84.5")

works at my end. What results are you getting?

And BTW I recall using COUNTIF in Office 98.
