As far as i know, table references reference whole columns, so you can't do a running total this way. However, if you use cell references as normal, the formula will extend down as you add new rows to the table, so there is no disadvantage as far as I can see. Why do you want/need to do this?

sometimes I will change the table columns to left or right according to my requirement ..
so then if I use cell references I will not get correct result.
and each time when I will change the columns, I have to modify the formula again (in cell references)
What do you mean? If you move tables, the cell references will adjust to their new location.
not whole table,
just the columns only (within Table)
You can move the columns about and the formula will adjust accordingly. See the attachment - I have moved your table, added a column, moved content - and the formula has adjusted accordingly. I see no issue here.
Ok, Just I misunderstood ..
Doubt Cleared ..
Thanks AliGW
