Order a list according to a range of values

Hi, I want to have my league table adjust itself so that the person in column A with the highest value of points in column B ( or C if that's easier)? What may be complicating things is that I already have the following formulas in:

A: =another cell reference to pull the persons name through from another worksheet
B: =SUM(of that persons points from another worksheet)
    C: =RANK(B2,$B$2:$B$19,0)

what I have been trying (and failing) to do is have the name appear in column A, but also have A2:A19 to sort themselves based on the values in B (or C)

any help gratefully received. thanks folks
