Hello all,

I'm new to the forum, and I have been working on creating some financial statements using cube functions, but some of my totals are incorrect, and I can't quite figure out what is wrong with the formula or how Excel is calculating the totals when there are multiple cube member values (like multiple rows with the same account number).

Here's an example:

I created a cubeset for the description row
=CUBESET("ThisWorkbookDataModel","[Query1].[Segment3].&[60000]", "Other")
then for the value I referenced the cubeset
=CUBEVALUE("ThisWorkbookDataModel", B6,"[Measures].[Sum of PeriodBalance]", Slicer_FiscalYear)

The value that is returned is different (more) than the aggregate sum of the amounts for account 60000, and i filtered the data just to be sure there were no other 60000 accounts sitting out there unaccounted for. This is not true for all cases within the data set, just a few amounts are returning different values than the table data shows using a sum formula - in other words, it is a random issue.

Can anyone point me to a solution that might be causing this?

best,
