Lookup Formula that returns specific variables

Good evening. I'm stumped on how to setup a lookup that will return specific lists depending on variable. I've attached an example of what I'm trying to do.

I've got three variables in the first drop down shaded yellow: X, Y & Z

I need to be able to return a specific list in the second drop down, shaded green, for each variable. The same with the second set of variables in the drop down shaded blue. I've separated them out on Sheet2.

For example, if I selected variable Y in the first yellow drop down, I want the variables shaded green under Y to return in the drop down shaded green and the variables shaded blue to return in the drop down shaded blue. I hope this makes sense.

I appreciate any help that anyone can give me!!

So, what you've done there, by using INDIRECT in cell B4, you'll need specify a named range "X" to 'Sheet2' cells B5:B17 - which will be a bit problematic with having 2 variables for dropdowns (i.e. can't have two named ranges called X). So... try this instead.

Thank you!! I thought the INDEX/MATCH might get a little messy. Thank you again for your help!
