Track the number of SATISFIED Conditions as Individual or Overlapped...

    Dear Forum,

I am just wondering if there's a way of being able to Track the # number of SATISFIED Conditions as Individual or Overlapped...

I have some Investment Data where I am needed to segregate the different types of Investments made i.e LumpSum, SIP, Switch-In, LumpSum+SIP, LumpSum+SIP+Switch-In, SIP + Switch-In, Switch-In + LumpSum..
I want to know the Exclusive Conditions or the Combined Conditions. I have more than the above conditions like Cheque , Cash, Internet which I have not added and therefore instead of having nested if conditions, i could use only some formula which gave me whether only one of the condition or a combination of conditions was satisfied.

The Data is as mentioned under...just two columns - Folio Number and narration where the above texts are mentioned.

    Equity-Folio Number | Narration |

    Warm Regards

Even with simple data layout it is always easier to work on some sample dataset. So please attach a file with some sample data and expected results.

Just as a first glance Pivot Table with (say) Equity-Folio Number in rows headers and Narration in column headers and simple count of any of tye two in data shal be useful way of pre-processing of your data

    1) "attach a file" is not the same as few data pasted into post (moreover it is in a form not suitable for automatic text_into_columns operation)
    2) in a spreadsheet you could present expected results. With 2000+ posts you've probably seen the below several times:

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.
