    relative scale

This is more of a math problem than excel, but maybe there's a built-in formula for this:

What I want to do is create a relative scale of 0 to 100 on a range of numbers. In this example, a row has 200 numbers, with a minimum of 5902 and a max of 16,429.

    Thus, 5902 would = 0, and 16,429 = 100.

And the other results would range between 1 and 99.

The formula should work on any other range of numbers as well.

    advice? Thanks!

    Try

    =PERCENTRANK($A$1:$A$200,A1)*100
