Dates and blanks - please help

Hi,

I have worked out how to calculate the amount of days between cell A1 and A2. But if A2 is blank, how do I get A3 to show as blank?

Any help, much appreciated.

or even better, A3 automatically contain days until today?

Thank you, but I must be going wrong somewhere.
I have entered the formula as follows:-

=IF(G3="","",TODAY()-E3)

Basically, in column H, I need the number of days between E and G.
If there is nothing in G, I need the number if days between E and Today.

I really appreciate you help on this, please see attachment. I think I've done as you said???

Another quick question, please.

I need K to show days from column I until today, if column I is empty, then it should be blank. I hope that makes sense. I have attached a picture for you.
