Sales dashboard with multiple years, reps and categories

Hi,

I am in the process of (trying) to create a sales dashboard to give me a quick breakdown of sales. What i need is the ability to break down per year, per rep, and per category/Job type individually, and sometimes combining those categories. The only way i can see to do that at the moment is to have multiple tabs with each years jobs included (so 2012, 2013, 2014) and then have a calculations tab which runs all of the above into pivot tables, but this is messy and im sure there must be a better way considering the power of excel. Does anybody have any suggestions/tips?
