    Creating a auto fill schedule

Hello all, this is my first thread so excuse my thread ethics....still learning

I am looking for an easier way to schedule construction projects.
Each project is composed of the following

    Design-2 days
    Drawings-5 days
    Material Takeoff- 1 day
    Production- 10 days
Delivery- set date provided by client

Typically I fill in the delivery date on a gantt char, and work backwards for the preceding items.
Is there a way to select the delivery dates and have the preceding date automatically fill in based on duration parameters I set ?

In actuality there are 30+ jobs, and most durations take months not days, so manually filling in the gantt chart is a pain.

I have been playing around with conditional formatting but to not understand enough to make it all function.

    Thanks!

Thanks Tim, unfortunately it is not working.

    I've attached a simplified schedule.
I want to fill in the durations for each activity, and a delivery date (column C).and have excel automatically fill in the Gantt chart for me.

I've also attached a template I found on the internet, its similar to what I am looking for. but instead of choosing a start date, I want to choose the end date and work backwards.
