I have a .txt file that I am trying to open in Excel but some of the columns are being combined creating multiple rows where there should be only one. I have attached examples for clarification.
Thanks!

try not open but Data - Get data from text with | delimiter
I was hopeful, but it returns the same result
You have only two CR/LF there so it will be divided like you see after import
fromtxtfile.jpg
But is there a fix to get rid of the CR/LF line breaks? The actual text file has about 20,000 rows
AFAIK manually only (or in any txt editor you can try find and replace if this editor support manipulation with CR/LF but you need define which character you want to find and replace with CR/LF)
You can't do that with | or space
Not the answer I was hoping for, but thanks for trying!
You are welcome
I'm not a miracle worker, sorry
