Conditional format with formula, checking sum and then counting

    I have a simple sum A1+B1

How do I compare the summed result, with another summed result, highlighting the larger value?

THEN... in another cell, count the highlighted cells in a given column

This is not one cell, it is a range of 24 cells, all with summed values. (4x6)

I have attached the sheet, I need to compare

    G3:J8 to G16:J21

Highlighting the score that is larger, then in the respective point row, assign 2 points for every larger value.

is 1 of those tables your expected outcome? If so, can you explain what you want? If not, can you include your expected outcome (and explain, if needed)
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

In the attached result, you will see the higher score gets highlighted. Then, in columns G:I, each higher score receives 2 point, totaling in the yellow row. Column J is only 1 point for the higher value.

This is basically two teams going against each other, the higher score gets the points. Does that make sense?
