retrive a list of data from a table

In the table in sheet1 some names and information about their payment are given. I need a formula to get the list of payments in August to the Sheet August ,payments in September to the Sheet September .... of course with the other related data (payment date, room number, Pin number, payment amount) to the given columns. If a name paid more than once in a month his name will repeat as much as his number of payments. (preferably date sorted list)
    Thank you.
how can I attach a sample file?

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Sorry mehmetics, I just don't see a formula that will fit with the way your data is laid out I don't know if you want to restructure your data.

The best way to lay your data out would be in a database form where every record had it's own line of data with headers running on the top row.

I will ask the other forum members if they have some ideas.

Edit: It would be much easier if you formatted your data as such. And if you did, then you could just filter by date and forgo the extra tabs

I would use one payment per line, just like a check register: Name, Data, Amt, Pin, whatever. Then you can filter, pivot, analyze the way Excel was designed to work.

The format you have will inflict misery forever.

Re: retrive a list of data from a table

Considering your advise I rearranged the sheet. now the formula should do this:
If one made a payment in August his name will be transfered to the sheet August, if there are more than one payment in the same month for him, the sum of his payments must be in the payment column. and the same for others and other months sheets
