    Range between tree numbers should return one number

    Dear all,

    My idea is to make an column with months numbers and then a column where it tells me what quarter the months is in.

    Hi Soren and welcome to the forum,

    I'd use a VLookup() function for this problem. See if the attached makes sense to you.

    =CEILING(A1/3,1)
