Re: Sumif & minif

Sorry, but I can't make sense of this:

Excel 2016 (Windows) 32 bit
I
J
40
$ 50.00
Need to be $50.00 as minimum of $50.00 (I40) or $25.00 (I47)
41
$ 866.00
Need to be $200.00 as minimum of $866.00 (I41) or $200.00 (I49)
42
$ 1,190.00
Need to be $1000.00 as minimum of $1,190.00 (I42) or $1,000.00 (I63)
43
$ 6,500.00
Need to be $250.00 as minimum of $6,500.00 (I43) , $500.00 (I63) or $250.00 (I65)
Sheet: Sheet1

How can $50 be the minimum of $25 and $50, for instance???

Re: Sumif & minif

I think you actually mean MAX, not MIN?
Also, depending on which version of 2016 you have, MAXIF (or MINIF) is not available to you. I have 2016 desktop, and it's not inthere

ANyway, if you want to test for values that are at least >=25, or else use 25, try his ARRAY formula...
=MAX(IF(($I$5:$I$37>0)*($H$5:$H$37="endo"),25,SUMIF($H$5:$H$37,"endo",I5:I37)))
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
