Hey guys!
I'm looking to merge several rows throughout a large dataset. However, I can't use Excel's consolidate function, since I need two cells in a row to duplicate with another two cells further down the dataset.
I'm looking at data over the placement of automated cameras checking the speed of motorists and their revenues on each road location. However, each row is a unique placement on a certain road. I want to consolidate revenues etc. on each road in the same postcode. Since the roads can be very long going through several postcodes and counties. Therefore, it's important that only identical road revenues are merged if also the postcodes match.
However, I can't seem to program excel to only sum cells F through I if cell B and cell D of the same row duplicate.
Really would appreciate your help!
I've attached a small data sample.
