A cell contains a number between a range then return value in another cell

If cell A1 contains any number between 0-7 then A2 returns 1, and if A1 is a number between 8-12 then A2 return 2, and ... returns 4,5, etc.

Please help!

have you considered using a table to do this?

you an do this with if functions too but it would be messy.
