Thanks,John. however, i'm looking for solution to show the recurrent activities in calendar view. which means there'll be repeat items showing when user click "Daily/weekly/Monthly/ Quarterly"..

if you look into my example file, i've got the activities showing intially, what i'm missing is the "repeat" activities.

e.g; swimming class, it should have 4 times showing on Nov, each SAT from 11/4/2017

Using your Tasklist you are going to need a very complex IF (and if at all possible) formula is each cell to cater for all conditions. You have to loop through the Tasklist : you will need VBA to achieve your desired result

The file I posted has a relatively simple formula: all that is required is to expand your Tasklist to a separate Activities list and then use the same formula.

You also need to define terms:

Monthly: same day of month each month (irrespective of day on which this falls)? i.e 21st Jan , 21st Feb or every 28 days ?

Quarterly: same as above
