Trying to calculate a target % to achieve goal

Hi all. First post. Been reading posts here for a while now and they have been very helpful. I now have a problem that I cannot find a solution for....

I have a series of monthly results and I want to find what monthly result needs to be achieve in the remaining months in order to meet the goal.

In this goal, we want to be >= 90...

In my"Needed to meet metric" row, I want to display in the first cell, what result is needed for each remaining month in order to be <= 90 at EOY. I need it to recalculate after each month's result too.

In this goal, we want to be <= 30...

In my"Needed to meet metric" row, I want to display in the first cell, what result is needed for each remaining month in order to be >=30 at EOY. I need it to recalculate after each month's result too.

I'm pretty good with VBA, but the algorithm for this is escaping me...

Pictures are of little value. Honestly, no one wants to re-type your data to try and solve your issue. Additionally, we would only be guessing at how your data was structured, ie. formulas, formatting, etc. Additionally, due to how some browsers behave, many of our members cannot see uploaded pictures/images. Please do not take this route.
Please attach a sample file that represents what you have. The structure of your attachment should be the same structure as your actual data. Any proprietary information should be changed.
Include in the attachment any code you're currently using (whether it works or not) and an After of what you wish the output to be.

To attach an Excel file to your post,

• click Go Advanced,
• scroll down until you see Manage Attachments,
• click that and select Browse,
• select your file and click Open,
• click Upload and you will see your attachment below Upload Files from a website
• click Close this window,
• click Submit reply

After that you should see attachment in your post
