highlighting cells in row based on specific cell value

Hi there
I can't seem to get this to work. I am looking to highlight cells L to S based on the value in cell J. If the stock in cell J is more than or equal to cell F I want cells L to S to be pink.

For some reason it is skipping some cells and when I go back to conditional formatting to apply it to the rest of the table the formula looks strange and it does not work on the other rows.

I am sure I have missed something basic but can't for the life of me work it out.
I had tried as the formula =if(J2>=F2) but that is rejected. I have also tried =F2=<J2 which works but doesn't.
