Depended comboboxes getting data from exel spreadsheet

Hello,

I have an Exel database of the following structure.
What im trying to do is to use formulas to populate the the comboboxes and the values to be dependent of the selection of the previous combobox(excluding the 1st one).
It would also be nice if the comboboxes would feature autocomplete.

Since i haven't used exel in this fashion and have very limited knowledge of all this i would appreciate if someone could point me to the right direction on how to approach this problem.

Ive been trying to solve this on my own for the last 2 days but the information i have found is overwhelming and i
still havent found a way to approach this.

Any suggestion is welcomed, even changing the structure of my data.

Hello,

step 1:- define name range for each subcategory.

step 2:- subcategory range name should be the same as category name

step 3:- go to subcategory data validation -> choose list type -> write name range with indirect function like - =INDIRECT("RANGE_NAME")

step 4:- Press ok.

step 5:- Do the same for element data validation.

Now when you will choose the category from 1st dropdown then subcategory dropdown will show the required values only.

If there is any error, then attach your sheet, i will do the same for you.
