Need formula for prorating monthly salary based on hire/fire date and annual salary.

    Hi All,

I used this formula - but can't seem to get it to work if the leave date was 01/12/15 for example.

It shows salary for the full month minus a day rather than pro-rated salary for 1 day of the month. Please could you help.

    Thanks,

    Komal

    What formula you used?
    Please attach sheet.
To attach worksheet Go advanced -> Manage attachments -> Choose file -> Upload
Don't forget to Mention your desired result in the sheet..
There should be sample data only, a lot of data creates confusion.

    Thanks & Regards

    Shivya
