    Double condition if

    In the workbook attached, how do I calculate the number of boys and the number of girls whose total marks in column N is >=200 and <=249?

    My formulas in cells C50 and D50 are not working.

    Re: Double condition if

    Try

    =COUNTIFS($C$9:$C$44,"M",$N$9:$N$44,">=200",$N$9:$N$44,"<=249")

    =COUNTIFS($C$9:$C$44,"F",$N$9:$N$44,">=200",$N$9:$N$44,"<=249")

    Re: Double condition if

    Thank you John, Spitfireblue and shukla. Your help came at the right time. The primary schools national exams were released yesterday and some headteachers came to my office, wanting me to analyse the results for them.

    Thank you so much.
