Erase space in a cell

I need to erase space (any spaces) which appears in a cell.
Example: Boeing 747 should read Boeing747
Any help with this function would be appreciated.

=SUBSTITUTE(A1," ","")

or Ctrl+H and replace space with nothing

I know you listed this as solved but it seems a simpler option would be using a find/replace where in find you put the space and in replace you leave it blank.
make sure you have it as any part of cell and highlight the column only where you want it to happen. Easy and done w/o a formula.
