    Automatically concatenate cells?

I'm trying to find all possible pairings for each of the phonemes I'm planning on using in my conlang, to save on the trouble of typing each of them out obsessively for hours. Hopefully once I know how to do it for pairs, I'll be able to apply the same formula/s in order to find out longer combinations. I've tried using the formula to concatenate the text in different cells, but this is incredibly time consuming and not exactly practical. That said, I was hoping to find out whether there was some simpler alternative, or if I should even be using Excel at all.

I've attached a screenshot of how the table with each of these combinations is supposed to be laid out.

Sorry for any hassle, and I understand if no one wanted to answer this.

    Try this: =CONCATENATE($A2,B$1)

Drag across to last column entry then down to last entry

Thanks so much for the help mate, just have to check, how exactly do I drag across so it applies this in all the cells?

    Re: Automatically concatenate cells?

The dollar signs are used for making either the column or row absolute

If you do not know how to copy a formula by dragging it across or down, Microsoft support will show you how.
