Attempting to make a match list

Hi there, I've got this problem i'm trying to solve, I have an excel file, with names of people and their choices of partner (matches) for a game.

I'm trying to create an automatic way to sort matches between the name and their choices with corresponding matches. please see excel file, in column A we have names with color, and in B-D we have matches with color.

Lets start with line 2A - Sue, her name is seen 2 times on the list as a match with Drew and Bob. Now we cross reference and see that Bob is on Sue's match list(2B) but Drew is not.

    So Sue and Bob match.

What I need to do is cross reference matches with names to see if two names both choose each other.

    So for this example

When matches are made I'd like a column that puts in match information. So in the line for Sue, I'd want Bob's Match Information at G2(name, email, phone).

Please check out the file below.

    thanks Sprout

Your sheet doesn't make much sense. I cannot which cells you want matched with which other cells. What's all the stuff in columns H to Q? Where are the phone numbers and the emaila ddresses that you want to get copied over?

awesome, thanks so much, there is one slight error. I really liked how you did the match count.... the thing is that it's only correspond matches.... so for instance, in that excel sheet, we see that Sue matched with Bob, and Bob matched with Sue :. creating a corresponding match. In which case I'd like Bobs email/phone number on her line... you can see that Charlie and Bruce did no choose Sue, so the only Bob would be listed. Does that make sense? I only need the corresponding matches. Thanks so much :-)

Thanks a million for what you've created, I've been working with it and it helps to have a working copy to see how it functions.

Now that I see how it functions i'm thinking it would be cool in the new test, where the matches are made, currenly it's displayed 'email'/'phone'. I'd love to have it first display....... Name: ____ Email: ______ Phone: _____.

This would make the display much more friendly. Thanks in advance
