    Vlookup Formula Look Good But Not WORKING!!

    hi all...

    i have problem with vlookup formula...
    in sheet "Lap Reval" as my target...
    in cell N706, the result is "Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir" - should be "Kabupaten Siak"
    in cell N723 the result is "Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir" should be "Kabupaten Siak"
    in sheet "input BGN" as my data in column H (red background)

    Try ZIPping the file (or extracting a suitable sample) and posting here as members are reluctant to go to file-hosting sites.

    Hi,

    Why should N706 be Kabupaten Siak? The inner VLOOKUP returns 95, and looking that up on Input BGN correctly returns Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir.

    thanks, cause the other is not suitable with Kabupaten Siak and the rows below is not matching with Kabupaten Siak

    That really doesn't answer the question. What is the logic that makes it "not suitable". Clearly your VLOOKUP formula is wrong, but without knowing the logic, it's going to be quite hard to fix it!

    this is logic :
    please check in cell L102 in sheet "Lap Reval" that's not the same with in cell N706 (kabupaten Indragiri Hilir)

    It's not the same because it's looking at a different sheet- 'Input Lap' as opposed to 'Input BGN'.
