I'm working on a vlookup table that uses countif to sum variables (e.g. "Clinic 1" shows up 7 times in the data set).
I'm finding that the formula =COUNTIF(C:C,VLOOKUP(A3,PSS,1,FALSE)) works in one cell for data in column C, but when I move to the next row for data in column D and insert =COUNTIF(D:D,VLOOKUP(A4,PSS,2,FALSE)) it returns a 0, although I know that's incorrect. Can anyone see where I might be going wrong with this?

Have you tried changing the 2 to a 1?
